In August this year we welcomed 17 year old Jake Matheson as a carpentry apprentice. Jake who lives in Aldershot and came via an advert with Rushmoor BC spends one day a week at Farnborough Technical College learning the tools of the trade. The rest of the week is spent on site working alongside our skilled joiners applying the knowledge learnt in the classroom out in the real world.
We have the in-house skills to further your ambitions and if you come equipped with a willingness and a commitment to work we can help you build a worthwhile career in the construction industry. In return we believe in paying a fair wage for your hard work.
In addition to the skills taught at college, apprentices attend all of the relevant on-site training courses, for example Asbestos Awareness, PASMA, First Aid etc.
We have opportunities for employment either with or without construction related skills. Close to our sites we employ local skilled and unskilled labour. You will also receive training in many aspects of construction.
If you would like to contact us to discuss opportunities we would like to hear from you – please email firstname.lastname@example.org
